Anesthesia

We utilize the safest available anesthetics to ensure an extra margin of safety, especially for our older, high-risk, and pediatric patients. The patient's vital signs are monitored with respiratory monitors, EKGs and constant manual supervision during all anesthetic procedures.

Note

Having a sedated patient is a great time to trim nails, remove a mole, cut out mats and so forth.

Biopsy

For cancer patients, we may recommend biopsies following surgery to identify the type of cancer present and also to see if cancer cells remain near the surgery site or nearby lymph nodes.
